- For the word of the Lord is right and true;
he is faithful in all he does. - Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.
- The blessing of the Lord brings wealth,
without painful toil for it. - Take delight in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart. - Who is he, this King of glory?
The Lord Almighty—
he is the King of glory. - Humility is the fear of the Lord;
its wages are riches and honor and life. - Come, let us bow down in worship,
let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. - The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
- I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?
- Wait for the Lord;
be strong and take heart
and wait for the Lord. - Observe my Sabbaths and have reverence for my sanctuary. I am the Lord.
- I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion;
therefore I will wait for him.” - A person may think their own ways are right,
but the Lord weighs the heart. - Trust in the Lord and do good;
dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. - The Lord is compassionate and gracious,
slow to anger, abounding in love. - He who finds a wife finds what is good
and receives favor from the Lord. - Blessed are those whose ways are blameless,
who walk according to the law of the Lord. - When hard pressed, I cried to the Lord;
he brought me into a spacious place. - The Lord is near to all who call on him,
to all who call on him in truth. - For the Lord takes delight in his people;
he crowns the humble with victory. - Honor the Lord with your wealth,
with the firstfruits of all your crops. - They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.”
- Wisdom’s instruction is to fear the Lord,
and humility comes before honor. - Taste and see that the Lord is good;
blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. - Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
his love endures forever.
For the Lord gives wisdom;
from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.Next verse!With image
