- For,
There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus. - For God called you to do good, even if it means suffering, just as Christ suffered for you. He is your example, and you must follow in his steps.
- And every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father. - But the Scriptures declare that we are all prisoners of sin, so we receive God’s promise of freedom only by believing in Jesus Christ.
- Asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God.
- And he has given us this command: Those who love God must also love their fellow believers.

- Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts.
- For if you are trying to make yourselves right with God by keeping the law, you have been cut off from Christ! You have fallen away from God’s grace.
- For I know that as you pray for me and the Spirit of Jesus Christ helps me, this will lead to my deliverance.
- Peter replied, “Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
- Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God.
