- I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
- Let all your things be done with charity.
- But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of the Lord charged you, to love the Lord your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.

teach me thy paths. - The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
- Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
- Wash you, make you clean;
put away the evil of your doings
from before mine eyes;
cease to do evil. - I am the Lord your God; walk in my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the Lord your God.
- But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation.
- Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
- These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
- Keep thy tongue from evil,
and thy lips from speaking guile. - Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
- There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling.
- Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
- I delight to do thy will, O my God:
yea, thy law is within my heart. - As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.
