- Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.
- Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation.
- Wake up from your drunken stupor, as is right, and do not go on sinning. For some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.

I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth! - Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven.
- On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink.”
- Be exalted, O God, above the heavens!
Let your glory be over all the earth! - And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.
- For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
- Judge not, that you be not judged.
- He who walks blamelessly and does what is right
and speaks truth in his heart;
who does not slander with his tongue
and does no evil to his neighbor,
nor takes up a reproach against his friend. - Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed;
save me, and I shall be saved,
for you are my praise. - Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.
- Be exalted, O God, above the heavens!
Let your glory be over all the earth! - Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
- But many who are first will be last, and the last first.
- Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind.
