- Jesus then said,
“I will remain with you
only for a short time longer,
and then I shall return
to him who sent me.” - And eternal life is this:
to know you,
the only true God,
and the one you have sent,
Jesus Christ. - Jesus replied,
“I am the way, and the truth, and the life.
No one comes to the Father
except through me.” - Since in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor lack of circumcision is worth anything. All that matters is faith expressing itself through love.

and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
who has blessed us in Christ
with every spiritual blessing in the heavens. - The end of all things is near. Therefore, lead disciplined lives and be watchful in prayer.
- Therefore, now that we have been justified by faith, we are at peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

from ancient times. - If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, then the one who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit that dwells in you.
- Hence, as sin’s reign resulted in death, so the grace of God also might reign through righteousness resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
- Jesus looked at them and said, “For men it is impossible, but not for God. For God all things are possible.”
- Jesus replied, “Blessed, rather, are those who hear the word of God and obey it!”
- Then, after he had spoken to them, the Lord Jesus was taken up into heaven, and there he took his place at the right hand of God.
- For all have sinned and thereby are deprived of the glory of God, and all are justified by the gift of his grace that is given freely through the redemption in Christ Jesus.
- Let your kindness be known to everyone. The Lord is near.
