Coming of Jesus (3/4)

  • Jesus said,
“Amen, amen, I say to you,
no one can enter the kingdom of God
unless he is born of water and the Spirit.”
  • The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
  • Jesus answered, “If it is possible! All things are possible for one who has faith.”
  • Jesus said to him, “Go on your way! Your faith has made you well.” Immediately, he received his sight and followed him along the road.
  • But according to Scripture all things have been confined under sin, so that through faith in Jesus Christ what was promised might be given to those who believe.
  • Indeed, persecution will afflict all who want to lead a godly life in Christ Jesus.
  • On the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood up and cried out,
    “If anyone is thirsty,
let him come to me and drink.”
  • But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
  • For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus for a life of good works that God had prepared for us to do.
  • I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation to know him.
  • It was for this purpose that he called you through our gospel so that you might come to share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
  • May the God of peace—who brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant— make you perfect in every respect so that you may do his will. And may he enable us to achieve what is pleasing to him through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
  • When Jesus heard this, he said, “Do not be afraid. Just have faith, and she will be saved.”
  • They answered, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, and so too will your household.”
  • And whatever you do in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
  • Rather, grow in the grace and the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
To him be glory both now and for all eternity. Amen.
  • We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners, yet we know that a man is justified not by the works of the Law but through faith in Jesus Christ. So we too came to believe in Christ Jesus so that we might be justified by faith in him and not by the works of the Law, for no one will be justified by the works of the Law.
  • For there is one God,
and there is one mediator between God and man,
    Christ Jesus, himself a man.
  • But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them. For it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.”
  • The end of all things is near. Therefore, lead disciplined lives and be watchful in prayer.
  • Jesus answered them,
“I am the bread of life.
Whoever comes to me will never be hungry,
and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”
  • Rejoice always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.
  • I press on toward the finishing line to win the heavenly prize to which God has called me in Christ Jesus.
  • “Peace be with you,” Jesus said to them again.
“As the Father has sent me,
    so I send you.”
  • Blessed be the God,
and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
who has blessed us in Christ
with every spiritual blessing in the heavens.

Through faith you are all children of God in Christ Jesus. For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves in Christ.
