- Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, including those who pierced him. All the tribes of the earth will mourn over him. Even so, Amen.
- Paul said, “John indeed baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe in the one who would come after him, that is, in Christ Jesus.”

- If therefore they tell you, ‘Behold, he is in the wilderness,’ don’t go out; or ‘Behold, he is in the inner rooms,’ don’t believe it. For as the lightning flashes from the east, and is seen even to the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be.
- But I beat my body and bring it into submission, lest by any means, after I have preached to others, I myself should be disqualified.
- Therefore also be ready, for in an hour that you don’t expect, the Son of Man will come.
- The heavens declare the glory of God.
The expanse shows his handiwork.
Day after day they pour out speech,
and night after night they display knowledge. - But may the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.
- Then, when they had fasted and prayed and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.

finds life, righteousness, and honor. - But from there you shall seek Yahweh your God, and you will find him when you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul.

that I may dwell in Yahweh’s house all the days of my life,
to see Yahweh’s beauty,
and to inquire in his temple. - Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of King Herod, behold, wise men from the east came to Jerusalem, saying, “Where is he who is born King of the Jews? For we saw his star in the east, and have come to worship him.”
- Show me your ways, Yahweh.
Teach me your paths. - You shall seek me and find me, when you search for me with all your heart.
- As they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks for it, and broke it. He gave to the disciples and said, “Take, eat; this is my body.”
- Let’s therefore give diligence to enter into that rest, lest anyone fall after the same example of disobedience.
- They said to you, “In the last time there will be mockers, walking after their own ungodly lusts.” These are those who cause divisions and are sensual, not having the Spirit.
- But you, man of God, flee these things, and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness.
- Don’t lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings, and have put on the new man, who is being renewed in knowledge after the image of his Creator.
- Remove far from me falsehood and lies.
Give me neither poverty nor riches.
Feed me with the food that is needful for me. - Now the birth of Jesus Christ was like this: After his mother, Mary, was engaged to Joseph, before they came together, she was found pregnant by the Holy Spirit.
- Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man will see the Lord.
- Create in me a clean heart, O God.
Renew a right spirit within me. - Search me, God, and know my heart.
Try me, and know my thoughts.
See if there is any wicked way in me,
and lead me in the everlasting way.
