  • I baptize you with water for repentance, but he who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

    and lead me in the way everlasting!
  • I sought the Lord, and he answered me
    and delivered me from all my fears.
  • As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so whoever feeds on me, he also will live because of me.
  • And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
  • And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness.
  • For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised.
