| Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him. | As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him. |

| Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.
