- Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
- And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
- And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifest in the flesh,
justified in the Spirit,
seen of angels,
preached unto the Gentiles,
believed on in the world,
received up into glory. - Blessed are the undefiled in the way,
who walk in the law of the Lord. - Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out:
he is excellent in power, and in judgment,
and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict. - But our God is in the heavens:
he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased. - For a thousand years in thy sight
are but as yesterday when it is past,
and as a watch in the night. - I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait,
and in his word do I hope. - I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
- For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.
- Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
- For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power.
- God setteth the solitary in families:
he bringeth out those which are bound with chains:
but the rebellious dwell in a dry land. - Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
- For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
- Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted: But the rich, in that he is made low: because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away.
- And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
- God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble. - He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High
shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress:
my God; in him will I trust. - Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
- Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us,
according as we hope in thee. - Hear my prayer, O Lord,
give ear to my supplications:
in thy faithfulness answer me,
and in thy righteousness. - Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy.
- And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
- I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the Lord he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock.Next verse! With image
