- And it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
- And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in the one body. And be thankful.
- Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; teach and admonish one another in all wisdom; and with gratitude in your hearts sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to God.

- How does God's love abide in anyone who has the world's goods and sees a brother or sister in need and yet refuses help?
- God gives the desolate a home to live in;
he leads out the prisoners to prosperity,
but the rebellious live in a parched land. - What then are we to say? Should we continue in sin in order that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin go on living in it?
- For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, and you have come to fullness in him, who is the head of every ruler and authority.
- For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them.
- The earth is the Lord's and all that is in it,
the world, and those who live in it. - Pray in the Spirit at all times in every prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert and always persevere in supplication for all the saints.
- God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble. - And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
- Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
- I have said this to you, so that in me you may have peace. In the world you face persecution. But take courage; I have conquered the world!
- This also comes from the Lord of hosts;
he is wonderful in counsel,
and excellent in wisdom. - Hear my prayer, O Lord;
give ear to my supplications in your faithfulness;
answer me in your righteousness. - And my God will fully satisfy every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
- And those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
