Bible Verses about 'Deeds'
- He will judge everyone according to what they have done.
- Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness.
Let the whole world know what he has done. - Take no part in the worthless deeds of evil and darkness; instead, expose them.
It is shameful even to talk about the things that ungodly people do in secret. - But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants.
- I will praise you, Lord, with all my heart;
I will tell of all the marvelous things you have done. - Look, I am coming soon, bringing my reward with me to repay all people according to their deeds.
- For the Son of Man will come with his angels in the glory of his Father and will judge all people according to their deeds.
- Wash yourselves and be clean!
Get your sins out of my sight.
Give up your evil ways. - He gave his life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us his very own people, totally committed to doing good deeds.
- So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless.
- In that wonderful day you will sing:
“Thank the Lord! Praise his name!
Tell the nations what he has done.
Let them know how mighty he is!” - He is the Rock; his deeds are perfect.
Everything he does is just and fair.
He is a faithful God who does no wrong;
how just and upright he is! - Who has done such mighty deeds,
summoning each new generation from the beginning of time?
It is I, the Lord, the First and the Last.
I alone am he. - And I will forgive their wickedness,
and I will never again remember their sins. - Don’t lie to each other, for you have stripped off your old sinful nature and all its wicked deeds. Put on your new nature, and be renewed as you learn to know your Creator and become like him.

- I saw the dead, both great and small, standing before God’s throne. And the books were opened, including the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to what they had done, as recorded in the books. The sea gave up its dead, and death and the grave gave up their dead. And all were judged according to their deeds.
- The human heart is the most deceitful of all things,
and desperately wicked.
Who really knows how bad it is?
But I, the Lord, search all hearts
and examine secret motives.
I give all people their due rewards,
according to what their actions deserve. - But I will be merciful only if you stop your evil thoughts and deeds and start treating each other with justice; only if you stop exploiting foreigners, orphans, and widows; only if you stop your murdering; and only if you stop harming yourselves by worshiping idols. Then I will let you stay in this land that I gave to your ancestors to keep forever.

- Commit your actions to the Lord,
and your plans will succeed. - Just think how much more the blood of Christ will purify our consciences from sinful deeds so that we can worship the living God. For by the power of the eternal Spirit, Christ offered himself to God as a perfect sacrifice for our sins.

- So let us stop going over the basic teachings about Christ again and again. Let us go on instead and become mature in our understanding. For from within, out of a person’s heart, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, wickedness, deceit, lustful desires, envy, slander, pride, and foolishness. All these vile things come from within; they are what defile you.”
