- Then Peter came and said to him, “Lord, if another member of the church sins against me, how often should I forgive? As many as seven times?” Jesus said to him, “Not seven times, but, I tell you, seventy-seven times.”
- The Lord is a stronghold for the oppressed,
a stronghold in times of trouble. - I will bless the Lord at all times;
his praise shall continually be in my mouth. - A friend loves at all times,
and kinsfolk are born to share adversity. - Pray in the Spirit at all times in every prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert and always persevere in supplication for all the saints.
- But the one who endures to the end will be saved.
- If another disciple sins, you must rebuke the offender, and if there is repentance, you must forgive. And if the same person sins against you seven times a day, and turns back to you seven times and says, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive.
- My times are in your hand;
deliver me from the hand of my enemies and persecutors. - While God has overlooked the times of human ignorance, now he commands all people everywhere to repent.
- Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in all ways. The Lord be with all of you.
- There is a way that seems right to a person,
but its end is the way to death. - The end of all things is near; therefore be serious and discipline yourselves for the sake of your prayers.
- For we have become partners of Christ, if only we hold our first confidence firm to the end.
- And this good news of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the world, as a testimony to all the nations; and then the end will come.
- For Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.
- He has made everything suitable for its time; moreover he has put a sense of past and future into their minds, yet they cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.
- But now that you have been freed from sin and enslaved to God, the advantage you get is sanctification. The end is eternal life.
- Repent therefore, and turn to God so that your sins may be wiped out.
- In the day of prosperity be joyful, and in the day of adversity consider; God has made the one as well as the other, so that mortals may not find out anything that will come after them.
- The end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear God, and keep his commandments; for that is the whole duty of everyone.
- Nevertheless, in your great mercies you did not make an end of them or forsake them, for you are a gracious and merciful God.
- God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble. - Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.
- The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases,
his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness. - For I know that my Redeemer lives,
and that at the last he will stand upon the earth.
But you, O Bethlehem of Ephrathah,
who are one of the little clans of Judah,
from you shall come forth for me
one who is to rule in Israel,
whose origin is from of old,
from ancient days.All this took place to fulfill what had been spoken by the Lord through the prophet:
“Look, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son,
and they shall name him Emmanuel,”
which means, “God is with us.” For in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith. As many of you as were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.Next verse!With image
