Bible Verses about 'Faith is the substance'

Faith is the assurance of what we hope for and the conviction about things that cannot be seen. Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
In it the righteousness of God is revealed, beginning in faith and established in faith. As it is written: “The one who is righteous will live through faith.”For in it the righteousness of God is revealed through faith for faith; as it is written, “The one who is righteous will live by faith.”
Welcome anyone whose faith is weak, but do not get into arguments about doubts.Welcome those who are weak in faith, but not for the purpose of quarreling over opinions.
In the same way, faith by itself is dead if it does not have works. So faith by itself, if it has no works, is dead.
For we walk by faith, not by sight. For we walk by faith, not by sight.
So then, faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the word of Christ. So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the word of Christ.
For you know that the testing of your faith will develop perseverance.Because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance.
Keep alert; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.Keep alert, stand firm in your faith, be courageous, be strong.
Thus there are three things that endure: faith, hope, and love, and the greatest of these is love. And now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; and the greatest of these is love.
For everyone born of God conquers the world. And the victory that conquers the world is our faith. For whatever is born of God conquers the world. And this is the victory that conquers the world, our faith.
Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the firstfruits of all your crops.Honor the Lord with your substance and with the first fruits of all your produce.
The proud man’s heart is not upright, but the righteous man will live because of his faith.Look at the proud! Their spirit is not right in them, but the righteous live by their faith.
The love of money is the root of all evils, and in their desire for it some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many serious wounds. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, and in their eagerness to be rich some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pains.
But he is to ask with faith, without doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed about by the wind. But ask in faith, never doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.
Since in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor lack of circumcision is worth anything. All that matters is faith expressing itself through love. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything; the only thing that counts is faith working through love.
And whoever does not provide for relatives, especially for those who are living with him, has disowned the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. And whoever does not provide for relatives, and especially for family members, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
Fight the good fight of faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your noble confession of faith in the presence of many witnesses.Fight the good fight of the faith; take hold of the eternal life, to which you were called and for which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
Therefore, now that we have been justified by faith, we are at peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, since we are justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Jesus said to him, “Go on your way! Your faith has made you well.” Immediately, he received his sight and followed him along the road.Jesus said to him, “Go; your faith has made you well.” Immediately he regained his sight and followed him on the way.
We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners, yet we know that a man is justified not by the works of the Law but through faith in Jesus Christ. So we too came to believe in Christ Jesus so that we might be justified by faith in him and not by the works of the Law, for no one will be justified by the works of the Law.We ourselves are Jews by birth and not Gentile sinners; yet we know that a person is justified not by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ. And we have come to believe in Christ Jesus, so that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by doing the works of the law, because no one will be justified by the works of the law.
Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not realize that Jesus Christ is in you? If he is not, then you have failed the test.Examine yourselves to see whether you are living in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not realize that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless, indeed, you fail to meet the test!
Therefore, while we have the opportunity, let us labor for the good of all, but especially for those members of the household of the faith. So then, whenever we have an opportunity, let us work for the good of all, and especially for those of the family of faith.
For it is by grace that you have been saved through faith. This has not come from you but from the gift of God. It does not come from works, so that no one can boast. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God— not the result of works, so that no one may boast.
But as for you, man of God, you must shun all this. Rather, pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, fortitude, and gentleness. But as for you, man of God, shun all this; pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, gentleness.
Let no one regard you with contempt because of your youth, but serve as an example to the believers in your speech and conduct, in your love, your faith, and your purity.Let no one despise your youth, but set the believers an example in speech and conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.

Turn away from youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, together with those who call on the Lord with a pure heart.Shun youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.
