- For whoso findeth me findeth life,
and shall obtain favour of the Lord. - Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing,
and obtaineth favour of the Lord. - A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth:
he will guide his affairs with discretion. - For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous;
with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield. - Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain:
but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised. - A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches,
and loving favour rather than silver and gold. - For his anger endureth but a moment;
in his favour is life:
weeping may endure for a night,
but joy cometh in the morning. - And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus.
- Let not mercy and truth forsake thee:
bind them about thy neck;
write them upon the table of thine heart:
So shalt thou find favour and good understanding
in the sight of God and man. - For they got not the land in possession by their own sword,
neither did their own arm save them:
but thy right hand, and thine arm,
and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them. - And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our fathers: let him not leave us, nor forsake us. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.Next verse!With image
