- I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

unto a nation that was not called by my name. - But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
- Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil.
- Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.
- Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
- I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
- I made haste, and delayed not
to keep thy commandments. - Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
- Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
- All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.
- A faithful witness will not lie:
but a false witness will utter lies. - When thou passest through the waters,
I will be with thee;
and through the rivers,
they shall not overflow thee:
when thou walkest through the fire,
thou shalt not be burned;
neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. - He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
- For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not.
- Ye shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold.
- Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.
Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart,
