Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Fear not'
- There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
- For I am the Lord your God
who takes hold of your right hand
and says to you, Do not fear;
I will help you. - Humility is the fear of the Lord;
its wages are riches and honor and life. - Wisdom’s instruction is to fear the Lord,
and humility comes before honor. - But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear their threats; do not be frightened.”
- Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.
- Though an army besiege me,
my heart will not fear;
though war break out against me,
even then I will be confident. - Better a little with the fear of the Lord
than great wealth with turmoil. - So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. - Anyone who withholds kindness from a friend
forsakes the fear of the Almighty. - May God bless us still,
so that all the ends of the earth will fear him. - Do not be wise in your own eyes;
fear the Lord and shun evil.
This will bring health to your body
and nourishment to your bones. - But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him,
on those whose hope is in his unfailing love. - As a father has compassion on his children,
so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him. - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge,
but fools despise wisdom and instruction. - Fear of man will prove to be a snare,
but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe. - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. - To fear the Lord is to hate evil;
I hate pride and arrogance,
evil behavior and perverse speech. - Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
- Blessed are all who fear the Lord,
who walk in obedience to him. - The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.”
- But be sure to fear the Lord and serve him faithfully with all your heart; consider what great things he has done for you.
- Now all has been heard;
here is the conclusion of the matter:
Fear God and keep his commandments,
for this is the duty of all mankind. - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;
all who follow his precepts have good understanding.
To him belongs eternal praise. - The Lord is my light and my salvation—
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life—
of whom shall I be afraid?
Now let the fear of the Lord be on you. Judge carefully, for with the Lord our God there is no injustice or partiality or bribery.Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. For from him and through him and for him are all things.
To him be the glory forever! Amen.Next verse!With image
