- Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,
The people He has chosen as His own inheritance. - Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
- So he was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights; he neither ate bread nor drank water. And He wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments.

- And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us,
And establish the work of our hands for us;
Yes, establish the work of our hands. - Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.” - Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.
- If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
- And they put up over His head the accusation written against Him:
THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS. - For so the Lord has commanded us:
‘I have set you as a light to the Gentiles,
That you should be for salvation to the ends of the earth.’ - And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.
- This is the ‘stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone.’
- Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
- But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.
- The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me,
Because He has anointed Me
To preach the gospel to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives
And recovery of sight to the blind,
To set at liberty those who are oppressed. - For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
- Then the churches throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and were edified. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, they were multiplied.
- Have you not known?
Have you not heard?
The everlasting God, the Lord,
The Creator of the ends of the earth,
Neither faints nor is weary.
His understanding is unsearchable. - Our help is in the name of the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth. - Is this not the fast that I have chosen:
To loose the bonds of wickedness,
To undo the heavy burdens,
To let the oppressed go free,
And that you break every yoke? - Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
- God shall bless us,
And all the ends of the earth shall fear Him. - For the Lord is our Judge,
The Lord is our Lawgiver,
The Lord is our King;
He will save us. - The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
