Chinese (traditional)Bible Verses about 'Fools'
- He that walketh with wise men shall be wise:
but a companion of fools shall be destroyed. - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge:
but fools despise wisdom and instruction. - When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed.
- See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
- And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.
- The words of a wise man's mouth are gracious;
but the lips of a fool will swallow up himself. - Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise:
and he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding. - A fool uttereth all his mind:
but a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards. - A fool's wrath is presently known:
but a prudent man covereth shame. - A fool's lips enter into contention,
and his mouth calleth for strokes. - A fool hath no delight in understanding,
but that his heart may discover itself. - Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
- It is an honour for a man to cease from strife:
but every fool will be meddling. - The wise in heart will receive commandments:
but a prating fool shall fall.
And said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great. Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.Next verse!With image
