| Filled with the Holy Spirit, Jesus returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the desert for forty days, where he was tempted by the devil. | However, now that you have been freed from sin and bound to the service of God, the benefit you receive is sanctification, and the end is eternal life. | But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. |
| The reward of humility and fear of the Lord is wealth, honor, and life. | By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, and honour, and life. |
| May God continue to bless us and be revered to the ends of the earth. | God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him. |
