Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full.Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
So when you give to the poor, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, so that they will be praised by people. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full.Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
I know how to get along with little, and I also know how to live in prosperity; in any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, both of having abundance and suffering need.I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
I did not eat any tasty food, nor did meat or wine enter my mouth, nor did I use any ointment at all until the entire three weeks were completed.I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled.

For because of this you also pay taxes, for rulers are servants of God, devoting themselves to this very thing.For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came so that they would have life, and have it abundantly.The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Honor your father and your mother, so that your days may be prolonged on the land which the Lord your God gives you.Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
As they had their pasture, they became satisfied, And as they became satisfied, their heart became proud; Therefore they forgot Me.According to their pasture, so were they filled; they were filled, and their heart was exalted; therefore have they forgotten me.

No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God remains in us, and His love is perfected in us.No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
