- For nothing will be impossible with God.
- And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
- Whom have I in heaven but you?
And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you. - For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
- For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit.
- In God, whose word I praise,
in God I trust; I shall not be afraid.
What can flesh do to me? - Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.
- So flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.
- You keep him in perfect peace
whose mind is stayed on you,
because he trusts in you. - Salvation belongs to the Lord;
your blessing be on your people! Selah - If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.
- But as for me, I will look to the Lord;
I will wait for the God of my salvation;
my God will hear me. - Make your face shine on your servant;
save me in your steadfast love! - If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him. For God's temple is holy, and you are that temple.
- Out of my distress I called on the Lord;
the Lord answered me and set me free. - Blessings are on the head of the righteous,
but the mouth of the wicked conceals violence. - Preserve me, O God, for in you I take refuge.
- Turn back, and say to Hezekiah the leader of my people, Thus says the Lord, the God of David your father: I have heard your prayer; I have seen your tears. Behold, I will heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the Lord.
- He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.
- No one after lighting a lamp covers it with a jar or puts it under a bed, but puts it on a stand, so that those who enter may see the light.
- May my teaching drop as the rain,
my speech distill as the dew,
like gentle rain upon the tender grass,
and like showers upon the herb. - The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit;
a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. - Can a woman forget her nursing child,
that she should have no compassion on the son of her womb?
Even these may forget,
yet I will not forget you.
Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands;
your walls are continually before me. - No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.
- On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink.”
With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love.
