- The prudent see danger and take refuge,
but the simple keep going and pay the penalty. - Let love and faithfulness never leave you;
bind them around your neck,
write them on the tablet of your heart.
Then you will win favor and a good name
in the sight of God and man. - Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him God the Father has placed his seal of approval.
- My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit;
a broken and contrite heart
you, God, will not despise. - Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.”
- No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.
- Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
- Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.
- Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they will see God. - Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh.
- Worship the Lord your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you.

your law is within my heart. - “He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”

in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them. - Guide me in your truth and teach me,
for you are God my Savior,
and my hope is in you all day long. - Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.
- And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.
- Now let the fear of the Lord be on you. Judge carefully, for with the Lord our God there is no injustice or partiality or bribery.
- Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”
- No one lights a lamp and hides it in a clay jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, they put it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light.
- Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
- When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone.
- Our God is in heaven;
he does whatever pleases him.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. “I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but I will not be mastered by anything.Next verse!With image
