- The Lord will command His lovingkindness in the daytime,
And in the night His song shall be with me—
A prayer to the God of my life. - “Now therefore,” he said, “put away the foreign gods which are among you, and incline your heart to the Lord God of Israel.”
- Salvation belongs to the Lord.
Your blessing is upon Your people. Selah - For if we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s.

And His ears are open to their prayers;
But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. - Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”
- And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector.
- Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
- “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil.
- Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord,
But those who deal truthfully are His delight. - And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him.
- And heal the sick there, and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’
- But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly.
- And He sat down, called the twelve, and said to them, “If anyone desires to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all.”
- The way of the Lord is strength for the upright,
But destruction will come to the workers of iniquity. - For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.
- Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.”
- In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.
- But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love.
- Take words with you,
And return to the Lord.
Say to Him,
“Take away all iniquity;
Receive us graciously,
For we will offer the sacrifices of our lips.” - Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them.
- And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.
- He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”
Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” - Therefore receive one another, just as Christ also received us, to the glory of God.
