But when you give alms, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing. Your almsgiving must be done in secret. Every good act of giving and every perfect gift are from above, coming down from the Father of all light. With him there is no alteration or shadow caused by change. A gift opens doors for the giver and wins him access to the powerful. Proverbs 18:16	Giving a gift can open doors; it gives access to important people! reward giving
Honor your father and your mother so that your days may be lengthened in the land that the Lord your God, will give you. Exodus 20:12	Honor your father and mother. Then you will live a long, full life in the land the Lord your God is giving you. God blessing family

If he refuses to listen to them, report it to the Church. And if he refuses to listen to the Church, treat him as you would a Gentile or a tax collector. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer. However, the face of the Lord is set against those who do evil. 1 Peter 3:12	The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right, and his ears are open to their prayers. Jesus replied, “If you wish to be perfect, go, sell your possessions, and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. They devoted themselves to the teaching of the apostles and to the communal fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayers.
