- Behold, God is my helper.
The Lord is the one who sustains my soul. - So that with good courage we say,
“The Lord is my helper. I will not fear.
What can man do to me?” - Yahweh God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him.”

I will never be greatly shaken. - God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.

He is a shield to those who take refuge in him. - “Yahweh is my portion,” says my soul.
“Therefore I will hope in him.” - You believe that God is one. You do well. The demons also believe—and shudder.
- We know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.
- What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

My salvation is from him. - Yahweh is my light and my salvation.
Whom shall I fear?
Yahweh is the strength of my life.
Of whom shall I be afraid? - Yahweh, the Lord, is my strength.
He makes my feet like deer’s feet,
and enables me to go in high places. - But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you.
- When the Counselor has come, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will testify about me.
- I delight to do your will, my God.
Yes, your law is within my heart. - This is the message which we have heard from him and announce to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
- God is faithful, through whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
- Yahweh is my strength and my shield.
My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped.
Therefore my heart greatly rejoices.
With my song I will thank him. - My soul, wait in silence for God alone,
for my expectation is from him. - Yahweh your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you if you return to him.

When shall I come and appear before God? - For who is God, except Yahweh?
Who is a rock, besides our God? - Because I delivered the poor who cried,
and the fatherless also, who had no one to help him,
the blessing of him who was ready to perish came on me,
and I caused the widow’s heart to sing for joy. - Haven’t I commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be dismayed, for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go.
- Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God remains in him, and he in God.
- For who is God, besides Yahweh?
Who is a rock, besides our God? - God, you are my God.
I will earnestly seek you.
My soul thirsts for you.
My flesh longs for you,
in a dry and weary land, where there is no water. - And God is able to make all grace abound to you, that you, always having all sufficiency in everything, may abound to every good work.
- Yahweh is my shepherd;
I shall lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters. - But as for me, I will look to Yahweh.
I will wait for the God of my salvation.
My God will hear me.
