Bible Verses about 'God is my helper'
- Surely God is my helper;
the Lord is the one who sustains me. - Therefore, we can say with confidence:
“The Lord is my helper;
I will not be afraid.
What can anyone do to me?” - To do your will, O God, is my delight;
your law is in my heart. - The Lord God is my strength;
he makes my feet as swift as those of a deer
and enables me to tread on the heights. - I love you, O Lord, my strength,
O Lord, my rock, my fortress, my deliverer.
My God is my rock in whom I take refuge,
my shield and the horn of my salvation,
my stronghold. - And the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I wish to make another creature who will be like him.”
- My deliverance and my glory depend on God;
he is my mighty rock and my refuge. - Whoever does not love
does not know God,
because God is love. - Even should my heart and my flesh fail,
God is the rock of my heart
and my portion forever. - Our God is in heaven;
he does whatever he pleases. - In God alone is my soul at rest;
it is from him that my salvation comes. - My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit;
a contrite and humble heart, O God,
you will not spurn. - He alone is my rock and my salvation,
my fortress, so that I stand unshaken. - And I will ask the Father,
and he will give you another Advocate
to be with you forever. - He alone is my rock and my salvation,
my fortress, so that I stand ever unshaken. - God is our refuge and our strength,
a well-proved help in times of trouble. - God is Spirit,
and those who worship him

love one another
as I have loved you. - We have come to know
and to believe in
the love that God has for us.
God is love,
and whoever abides in love
abides in God,
and God in him. - What then can we say in response to all this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
- By this is my Father glorified,
that you bear much fruit
and become my disciples. - Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,
the people whom he has chosen as his heritage. - The Lord is my portion, I say to myself;

whom I will send you from the Father,
the Spirit of truth who comes from the Father,
he will testify on my behalf. - However, the Advocate, the Holy Spirit,
whom the Father will send in my name,
will teach you everything
and remind you of all
