- Behold, God is my helper;
The Lord is the sustainer of my soul. - So that we confidently say,
“The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid.
What will man do to me?” - The Lord God is my strength,
And He has made my feet like deer’s feet,
And has me walk on my high places. - Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him.”
- But the Helper, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and remind you of all that I said to you.
- But I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I am leaving; for if I do not leave, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you.

My refuge; I will not be shaken. - “I love You, Lord, my strength.”
The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my savior,
My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge;
My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. - My salvation and my glory rest on God;
The rock of my strength, my refuge is in God. - Because I saved the poor who cried for help,
And the orphan who had no helper.
The blessing of the one who was about to perish came upon me,
And I made the widow’s heart sing for joy. - He alone is my rock and my salvation,
My stronghold; I will not be greatly shaken. - God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.

He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him. - What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?
- “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,
“Therefore I wait for Him.” - You believe that God is one. You do well; the demons also believe, and shudder.
- Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord,
The people He has chosen for His own inheritance. - We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.
- Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a person sows, this he will also reap.
- This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you.
- If anyone destroys the temple of God, God will destroy that person; for the temple of God is holy, and that is what you are.
- For the wages of sin is death, but the gracious gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- The Lord is my light and my salvation;
Whom should I fear?
The Lord is the defense of my life;
Whom should I dread? - I delight to do Your will, my God;
Your Law is within my heart. - The Lord is my strength and my shield;
My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped;
Therefore my heart triumphs,
And with my song I shall thank Him. - God is faithful, through whom you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
- My soul, wait in silence for God alone,
For my hope is from Him. - This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.
- For You light my lamp;
The Lord my God illumines my darkness. - And behold, a voice from the heavens said, “This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”
- For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written: “But the righteous one will live by faith.”
- My soul thirsts for God, for the living God;
When shall I come and appear before God? - For the Lord your God is gracious and compassionate, and will not turn His face away from you if you return to Him.
- So having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now proclaiming to mankind that all people everywhere are to repent.
- For who is God, but the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God remains in him, and he in God.
- Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not be terrified nor dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

And who is a rock, except our God? - God, You are my God; I shall be watching for You;
My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You,
In a dry and exhausted land where there is no water. - The Lord is my shepherd,
I will not be in need.
He lets me lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside quiet waters. - My soul waits in silence for God alone;
From Him comes my salvation. - Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would be fighting so that I would not be handed over to the Jews; but as it is, My kingdom is not of this realm.”
- For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown toward His name, by having served and by still serving the saints.
