- I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord;
I have no good apart from you.” - So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the word of Christ.

and desire to see good days,
let them keep their tongues from evil
and their lips from speaking deceit;
let them turn away from evil and do good;
let them seek peace and pursue it.” - Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due,
when it is in your power to do it. - For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving,
abounding in steadfast love to all who call on you. - How much more valuable is a human being than a sheep! So it is lawful to do good on the sabbath.
- Then the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper as his partner.”
- A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches,
and favor is better than silver or gold. - Seek good and not evil,
that you may live;
and so the Lord, the God of hosts, will be with you,
just as you have said. - Anxiety weighs down the human heart,
but a good word cheers it up. - Teach me to do your will,
for you are my God.
Let your good spirit lead me
on a level path. - To make an apt answer is a joy to anyone,
and a word in season, how good it is! - Who is wise and understanding among you? Show by your good life that your works are done with gentleness born of wisdom.
