| In Christ and through his blood we have redemption and the forgiveness of our sins. In accord with the riches of his grace. | In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our wrongdoings, according to the riches of His grace. |
| However, now that you have been freed from sin and bound to the service of God, the benefit you receive is sanctification, and the end is eternal life. | But now having been freed from sin and enslaved to God, you derive your benefit, resulting in sanctification, and the outcome, eternal life. |
| But I with hymns of praise will offer sacrifice to you. What I have vowed I will fulfill. Salvation comes from the Lord. | But I will sacrifice to You With a voice of thanksgiving. That which I have vowed I will pay. Salvation is from the Lord. |
| This is the message that we have heard from him and that we declare to you: God is light, and there is no darkness at all in him. | This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. |
