- And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
- You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask.

- This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
- Your word I have hidden in my heart,
That I might not sin against You. - I will never forget Your precepts,
For by them You have given me life. - For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
- Direct my steps by Your word,
And let no iniquity have dominion over me. - I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies,
As much as in all riches. - Therefore whatever you have spoken in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have spoken in the ear in inner rooms will be proclaimed on the housetops.
- I have made a covenant with my eyes;
Why then should I look upon a young woman? - Oh, how great is Your goodness,
Which You have laid up for those who fear You,
Which You have prepared for those who trust in You
In the presence of the sons of men! - Two are better than one,
Because they have a good reward for their labor. - Great peace have those who love Your law,
And nothing causes them to stumble.
