- I love Yahweh, because he listens to my voice,
and my cries for mercy.
Because he has turned his ear to me,
therefore I will call on him as long as I live. - Yahweh himself is who goes before you. He will be with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be discouraged.
- Yahweh restored Job’s prosperity when he prayed for his friends. Yahweh gave Job twice as much as he had before.
- Even a fool, when he keeps silent, is counted wise.
When he shuts his lips, he is thought to be discerning. - Yahweh is with you while you are with him; and if you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will forsake you.
- You who love Yahweh, hate evil!
He preserves the souls of his saints.
He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked. - He was there with Yahweh forty days and forty nights; he neither ate bread, nor drank water. He wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.
- He answered them, “He who has two coats, let him give to him who has none. He who has food, let him do likewise.”
- God blessed the seventh day, and made it holy, because he rested in it from all his work of creation which he had done.
- He sat down and called the twelve; and he said to them, “If any man wants to be first, he shall be last of all, and servant of all.”
- The Rock: his work is perfect,
for all his ways are just.
A God of faithfulness who does no wrong,
just and right is he. - Because the midwives feared God, he gave them families.
- Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
- So we fasted and begged our God for this, and he granted our request.

Trust also in him, and he will do this:
he will make your righteousness shine out like light,
and your justice as the noon day sun. - Let no man say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God,” for God can’t be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one.
- Also delight yourself in Yahweh,
and he will give you the desires of your heart. - Yahweh, the Lord, is my strength.
He makes my feet like deer’s feet,
and enables me to go in high places. - May he grant you your heart’s desire,
and fulfill all your counsel. - My son, don’t despise Yahweh’s discipline,
neither be weary of his correction;
for whom Yahweh loves, he corrects,
even as a father reproves the son in whom he delights. - For Yahweh takes pleasure in his people.
He crowns the humble with salvation. - But he was pierced for our transgressions.
He was crushed for our iniquities.
The punishment that brought our peace was on him;
and by his wounds we are healed. - Then what if you would see the Son of Man ascending to where he was before?
- Beloved, now we are children of God. It is not yet revealed what we will be; but we know that when he is revealed, we will be like him, for we will see him just as he is. Everyone who has this hope set on him purifies himself, even as he is pure.
