Him37paul (3/4)

  • “Yahweh is my portion,” says my soul.
“Therefore I will hope in him.”
  • Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him.
  • For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed.”
  • God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.
  • Yahweh redeems the soul of his servants.
None of those who take refuge in him shall be condemned.
  • Blessed are those who keep his statutes,
who seek him with their whole heart.
  • Oh taste and see that Yahweh is good.
Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.
  • He answered them, “He who has two coats, let him give to him who has none. He who has food, let him do likewise.”
  • Beloved, now we are children of God. It is not yet revealed what we will be; but we know that when he is revealed, we will be like him, for we will see him just as he is. Everyone who has this hope set on him purifies himself, even as he is pure.
  • Every word of God is flawless.
He is a shield to those who take refuge in him.
  • But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never thirst again; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.
  • Then Peter came and said to him, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Until seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I don’t tell you until seven times, but, until seventy times seven.”
  • He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood lives in me, and I in him.
  • Peter therefore was kept in the prison, but constant prayer was made by the assembly to God for him.
  • Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
  • Having been made perfect, he became to all of those who obey him the author of eternal salvation.
  • But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God’s children, to those who believe in his name.
  • If your brother sins against you, rebuke him. If he repents, forgive him. If he sins against you seven times in the day, and seven times returns, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.
  • You shall keep the commandments of Yahweh your God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.
  • He who keeps his commandments remains in him, and he in him. By this we know that he remains in us, by the Spirit which he gave us.
  • Behold, Yahweh’s eye is on those who fear him,
on those who hope in his loving kindness.
  • By this we know that we remain in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.
  • For in him all the fullness of the Deity dwells bodily, and in him you are made full, who is the head of all principality and power.
  • Yahweh is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who take refuge in him.
  • Like a father has compassion on his children,
so Yahweh has compassion on those who fear him.

Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, and that will be enough for us.”
