- For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.

the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you;
the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace. - Blessed are those who keep his testimonies,
who seek him with their whole heart. - The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous
and his ears toward their cry. - For the Lord takes pleasure in his people;
he adorns the humble with salvation. - For the Lord gives wisdom;
from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. - So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God, for whoever has entered God's rest has also rested from his works as God did from his.
- Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised,
and his greatness is unsearchable. - A wise son makes a glad father,
but a foolish son is a sorrow to his mother. - If you will diligently listen to the voice of the Lord your God, and do that which is right in his eyes, and give ear to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you that I put on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, your healer.

- Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
for his steadfast love endures forever! - If you obey the commandments of the Lord your God that I command you today, by loving the Lord your God, by walking in his ways, and by keeping his commandments and his statutes and his rules, then you shall live and multiply, and the Lord your God will bless you in the land that you are entering to take possession of it.
- His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence.
