Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.I am coming quickly; hold firmly to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.
Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil.But examine everything; hold firmly to that which is good, abstain from every form of evil.
Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)Let’s hold firmly to the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.

Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.Jesus said to her, “Stop clinging to Me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to My brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and My God and your God.’ ”
But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of the Lord charged you, to love the Lord your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.Only be very careful to follow the commandment and the Law which Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, to love the Lord your God and walk in all His ways, and keep His commandments and cling to Him, and serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul.
No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth.
When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O Lord, held me up.If I should say, “My foot has slipped,” Your faithfulness, Lord, will support me.
A fool uttereth all his mind: but a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards.A fool always loses his temper, But a wise person holds it back.
The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished.Then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from a trial, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment.
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist on the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.
In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips is wise.When there are many words, wrongdoing is unavoidable, But one who restrains his lips is wise.
Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; Holding forth the word of life.Do all things without complaining or arguments; so that you will prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world, holding firmly the word of life.
Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise: and he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding.Even a fool, when he keeps silent, is considered wise; When he closes his lips, he is considered prudent.
Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O Lord: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.You, Lord, will not withhold Your compassion from me; Your mercy and Your truth will continually watch over me.

For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.
