- If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.

in the days of your youth,

“I find no pleasure in them”. - Exalted to the right hand of God, he has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear.
- But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.

- The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.
“Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him.” The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness.
