- You call me Teacher and Lord, and you are right, for so I am.

- I was ready to be sought by those who did not ask for me;
I was ready to be found by those who did not seek me.
I said, “Here I am, here I am,”
to a nation that was not called by my name. - Jesus then said, “I will be with you a little longer, and then I am going to him who sent me.”
- Hear my prayer, O Lord,
and give ear to my cry;
hold not your peace at my tears!
For I am a sojourner with you,
a guest, like all my fathers. - Even to your old age I am he,
and to gray hairs I will carry you.
I have made, and I will bear;
I will carry and will save. - If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.
- Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.”
- Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father.
