| Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. | Don’t misunderstand why I have come. I did not come to abolish the law of Moses or the writings of the prophets. No, I came to accomplish their purpose. |
| For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. | “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” |
| As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. | I correct and discipline everyone I love. So be diligent and turn from your indifference. |
