You know no God but me,
nor any savior other than me. - I will, thereby, display my greatness and my holiness and make myself known to many nations. Then they will know that I am the Lord.
- Jesus answered them,
“I am the bread of life.
Whoever comes to me will never be hungry,
and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” - I am the living bread that came down from heaven.
Whoever eats this bread will live forever;
and the bread that I will give
is my flesh, for the life of the world. - I, the Lord, am your God. You must obey my laws and be careful to observe my ordinances. Keep holy my Sabbaths as a sign between me and you so that you will know that I am the Lord, your God.

The one who follows me
will never walk in darkness.

and I will answer them. - I intend to prove the holiness of my great name which has been profaned among the nations, and which you have profaned among them. Thus, the nations will know that I am the Lord, says the Lord God, when through you I will display my holiness in their sight.

in the land of the living. - Do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be afraid, for I am your God.

I will uphold you with my victorious right hand. - And a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

human beings who must perish like grass? - Behold, I am coming soon, and I will bring with me my reward to repay everyone as his deeds deserve.
