- I cried to Him with my mouth,
And He was exalted with my tongue. - So Peter was kept in the prison, but prayer for him was being made to God intensely by the church.
- But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us.
- Therefore, you shall keep the commandments of the Lord your God, to walk in His ways and to fear Him.
- While they were there, the time came for her to give birth. And she gave birth to her firstborn son; and she wrapped Him in cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.
- But speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, that is, Christ.
- But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.
- He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?
- Seek the Lord while He may be found;
Call upon Him while He is near. - “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,
“Therefore I wait for Him.” - What is man that You think of him,
And a son of man that You are concerned about him? - Whatever you do in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.
- This wretched man cried out, and the Lord heard him,
And saved him out of all his troubles. - A person’s gift makes room for him
And brings him before great people. - But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you search for Him with all your heart and all your soul.
- Having cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares about you.
- For this reason also God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth.
- Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him.”
- Opening his mouth, Peter said:
“I most certainly understand now that God is not one to show partiality,
but in every nation the one who fears Him and does what is right is acceptable to Him.” - Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.
- Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him.
- For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old self was crucified with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin.
- It is He who reveals the profound and hidden things;
He knows what is in the darkness,
And the light dwells with Him. - If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
- And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for the one who comes to God must believe that He exists, and that He proves to be One who rewards those who seek Him.
