- O taste and see that the Lord is good:
blessed is the man that trusteth in him. - He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.
- Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.
- The Lord is good,
a strong hold in the day of trouble;
and he knoweth them that trust in him. - Every word of God is pure:
he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. - The Lord is my portion, saith my soul;
therefore will I hope in him. - The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants:
and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate. - To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
- This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
- For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
- As for God, his way is perfect;
the word of the Lord is tried:
he is a buckler to all them that trust in him. - For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
- Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
- For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
- As for God, his way is perfect:
the word of the Lord is tried:
he is a buckler to all those that trust in him. - And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
- For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
- And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.
- The Lord is my strength and my shield;
my heart trusted in him, and I am helped:
therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth;
and with my song will I praise him. - For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power.
- Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
- The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice:
and he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him. - I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
- And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
- Commit thy way unto the Lord;
trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light,
and thy judgment as the noonday.
But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?But now, O Lord, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him,
and he shall direct thy paths.Next verse!With image
