It (3/4)

  • Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them.
  • Neither do you light a lamp and put it under a measuring basket, but on a stand; and it shines to all who are in the house. Even so, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
  • He took the cup, gave thanks, and gave to them, saying, “All of you drink it, for this is my blood of the new covenant, which is poured out for many for the remission of sins.”
  • Yahweh says, “Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, ‘Where is the good way?’ and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’”
  • Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be given to you. For with the same measure you measure it will be measured back to you.
  • Of how much more value then is a man than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath day.
  • Don’t be afraid, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom.
  • For the customs of the peoples are vanity;
for one cuts a tree out of the forest,
the work of the hands of the workman with the ax.
They deck it with silver and with gold.
They fasten it with nails and with hammers,
    so that it can’t move.
They are like a palm tree, of turned work,
    and don’t speak.
    They must be carried,
    because they can’t move.
    Don’t be afraid of them;
    for they can’t do evil,
neither is it in them to do good.
  • What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? May it never be! We who died to sin, how could we live in it any longer?
  • It will be that whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.
  • For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast.
  • This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it; for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success.
  • But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
  • Continue steadfastly in prayer, watching in it with thanksgiving.
  • For it is written,
“‘As I live,’ says the Lord, ‘to me every knee will bow.
Every tongue will confess to God.’”
  • But they, when they saw him walking on the sea, supposed that it was a ghost, and cried out; for they all saw him and were troubled. But he immediately spoke with them and said to them, “Cheer up! It is I! Don’t be afraid.”
  • Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, “Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.”
  • Jesus, looking at them, said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God, for all things are possible with God.”
  • Enter in by the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter in by it. How narrow is the gate and the way is restricted that leads to life! There are few who find it.
  • A second likewise is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
  • But I beat my body and bring it into submission, lest by any means, after I have preached to others, I myself should be disqualified.
  • When you vow a vow to God, don’t defer to pay it; for he has no pleasure in fools. Pay that which you vow.
  • The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.
  • So you shall know wisdom to be to your soul.
If you have found it, then there will be a reward:
Your hope will not be cut off.
  • Being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.

As newborn babies, long for the pure spiritual milk, that with it you may grow.

but he who heeds reproof shows prudence.

Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.Next verse! With image
