Jesus knows your works (2/4)

  • Let your attitude be identical to that of Christ Jesus.
  • The lips of the righteous utter words of kindness,
    but the mouth of the wicked knows only how to pervert.
  • The Lord will fulfill his plan for me.
    Your kindness, O Lord, endures forever;
    do not forsake the work of your hands.
  • I also ask that the women should dress themselves modestly and decently in suitable clothing. They should be adorned not with braided hair or with gold or pearls or expensive clothes, but with good works, as is fitting for women who profess their reverence for God.
  • Everyone who sins comes from the devil,
    for the devil has been a sinner
    from the very beginning.
    The Son of God appeared for this very purpose:
    to destroy the work of the devil.
  • Jesus said to him, “Go on your way! Your faith has made you well.” Immediately, he received his sight and followed him along the road.
  • Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
  • They answered, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, and so too will your household.”
  • Therefore, a Sabbath rest still remains for the people of God, since those who enter into God’s rest also cease from their own labors as God did from his.
  • The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you all.
  • Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
  • And my God will fully supply all your needs out of the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
  • How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our conscience from acts that lead to death so that we may worship the living God.
  • Then the God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
  • For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so too do we believe that God will bring forth with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.
  • For no one can be regarded as justified in the sight of God by keeping the Law. The Law brings only the consciousness of sin.
  • Not because of any righteous deeds on our part
    but because of his mercy,
    he saved us through the bath of rebirth
    and renewal by the Holy Spirit.
  • If you confess with your lips, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
  • Now the works of the flesh are obvious: fornication, impurity, licentiousness, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, anger, quarrels, dissensions, factions, envy, drunkenness, carousing, and the like. I warn you, as I warned you previously, that no one who does such things will inherit the kingdom of God.
  • I will offer praise to you, O Lord,
    with my whole heart;
    I will recount all your wondrous deeds.
  • Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • As for you, my child, take strength from the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
  • Jesus answered them,
    “My teaching is not my own;
    rather, it comes from him who sent me.”
  • For I know that through your prayers and with the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ this will result in deliverance for me.
  • Jesus answered, “If it is possible! All things are possible for one who has faith.”

For God will repay everyone in accordance with what his deeds deserve.
