John 3:16 (2/4)

So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free.So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
For you are the children of your father the devil, and you love to do the evil things he does. He was a murderer from the beginning. He has always hated the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, it is consistent with his character; for he is a liar and the father of lies. You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
Yes, I am the gate. Those who come in through me will be saved. They will come and go freely and will find good pastures.I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture.
The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me, for my Father has given them to me, and he is more powerful than anyone else. No one can snatch them from the Father’s hand. The Father and I are one.I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.
Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying. Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die. Do you believe this, Martha?”Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
Jesus responded, “Didn’t I tell you that you would see God’s glory if you believe?”Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”
Anyone who wants to serve me must follow me, because my servants must be where I am. And the Father will honor anyone who serves me.Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.
You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and you are right, because that’s what I am.You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am.
And since I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you ought to wash each other’s feet. Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet.
I tell you the truth, slaves are not greater than their master. Nor is the messenger more important than the one who sends the message.Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him.
I tell you the truth, anyone who welcomes my messenger is welcoming me, and anyone who welcomes me is welcoming the Father who sent me.Very truly I tell you, whoever accepts anyone I send accepts me; and whoever accepts me accepts the one who sent me.
So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other.A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.

There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?
Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.”Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

No, I will not abandon you as orphans—I will come to you.I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.
Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them. And I will love them and reveal myself to each of them.Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.
