- I am the true vine, and my Father is the farmer. Every branch in me that doesn’t bear fruit, he takes away. Every branch that bears fruit, he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.
- You are already pruned clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.
- I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me and I in him bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.

- If the world hates you, you know that it has hated me before it hated you.
- When the Counselor has come, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will testify about me.
- Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I don’t go away, the Counselor won’t come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you.
- When he has come, he will convict the world about sin, about righteousness, and about judgment.
- Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full.
- I came from the Father and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world and go to the Father.
- I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble; but cheer up! I have overcome the world.
- This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ.

- So then the other disciple who came first to the tomb also entered in, and he saw and believed. For as yet they didn’t know the Scripture, that he must rise from the dead.
- Jesus said to her, “Don’t hold me, for I haven’t yet ascended to my Father; but go to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”
- Jesus therefore said to them again, “Peace be to you. As the Father has sent me, even so I send you.”
- Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed.”
- In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
- All things were made through him. Without him, nothing was made that has been made.
- The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness hasn’t overcome it.
- But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God’s children, to those who believe in his name.
- The Word became flesh and lived among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the only born Son of the Father, full of grace and truth.
- No one has seen God at any time. The only born Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, has declared him.
- I didn’t recognize him, but he who sent me to baptize in water said to me, ‘On whomever you will see the Spirit descending and remaining on him is he who baptizes in the Holy Spirit.’
- Jesus answered him, “Most certainly I tell you, unless one is born anew, he can’t see God’s Kingdom.”
- Jesus answered, “Most certainly I tell you, unless one is born of water and Spirit, he can’t enter into God’s Kingdom.”
- That which is born of the flesh is flesh. That which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
- For God so loved the world, that he gave his only born Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
- For God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him.
- He who believes in him is not judged. He who doesn’t believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only born Son of God.
- But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his works may be revealed, that they have been done in God.
- He must increase, but I must decrease.
- One who believes in the Son has eternal life, but one who disobeys the Son won’t see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.
- But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never thirst again; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.
- God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.
- Don’t work for the food which perishes, but for the food which remains to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For God the Father has sealed him.
- Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”
- Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will not be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”
- I am the living bread which came down out of heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. Yes, the bread which I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.
- He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood lives in me, and I in him.
