And when he comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment. | And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment. |
I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak. | But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. |

Then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment. | The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished. |
Therefore you have no excuse, O man, every one of you who judges. For in passing judgment on another you condemn yourself, because you, the judge, practice the very same things. | Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things. |
Therefore let us not pass judgment on one another any longer, but rather decide never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother. | Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way. |
Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, and of instruction about washings, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. | Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. |
Let not the one who eats despise the one who abstains, and let not the one who abstains pass judgment on the one who eats, for God has welcomed him. | Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him. |
No weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their vindication from me, declares the Lord. | No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord. |
I appeal to you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment. | Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. |
Who are you to pass judgment on the servant of another? It is before his own master that he stands or falls. And he will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make him stand. | Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand. |
For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned. | For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. |
The Almighty—we cannot find him; he is great in power; justice and abundant righteousness he will not violate. | Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out: he is excellent in power, and in judgment, and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict. |
Therefore let no one pass judgment on you in questions of food and drink, or with regard to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath. These are a shadow of the things to come, but the substance belongs to Christ. | Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ. |
But let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream. | But let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream. |
Guarding the paths of justice and watching over the way of his saints. | He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints. |
How much better to get wisdom than gold! To get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver. | How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver! |
To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. | To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. |
Get wisdom; get insight; do not forget, and do not turn away from the words of my mouth. | Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth. |
He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the steadfast love of the Lord. | He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord. |

Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow's cause. | Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. |
The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom, and whatever you get, get insight. | Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. |
It is well with the man who deals generously and lends; who conducts his affairs with justice. | A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion. |
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight. | The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. |
