| Not a single person on earth is always good and never sins. | For there is not a just man on earth who does good And does not sin. |
| And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. | Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. |
| But if wicked people turn away from all their sins and begin to obey my decrees and do what is just and right, they will surely live and not die. | But if a wicked man turns from all his sins which he has committed, keeps all My statutes, and does what is lawful and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die. |
| For the more we suffer for Christ, the more God will shower us with his comfort through Christ. | For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ. |
| I live because of the living Father who sent me; in the same way, anyone who feeds on me will live because of me. | As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me. |

| The words of the godly are like sterling silver; the heart of a fool is worthless. | The tongue of the righteous is choice silver; The heart of the wicked is worth little. |
| In the same way, there is joy in the presence of God’s angels when even one sinner repents. | Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents. |
| He guards the paths of the just and protects those who are faithful to him. | He guards the paths of justice, And preserves the way of His saints. |
| Think about it: Just as a parent disciplines a child, the Lord your God disciplines you for your own good. | You should know in your heart that as a man chastens his son, so the Lord your God chastens you. |
| This Good News tells us how God makes us right in his sight. This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.” | For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.” |
| Look at the proud! They trust in themselves, and their lives are crooked. But the righteous will live by their faithfulness to God. | Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith. |
| Let your unfailing love surround us, Lord, for our hope is in you alone. | Let Your mercy, O Lord, be upon us, Just as we hope in You. |
| Then you will understand what is right, just, and fair, and you will find the right way to go. | Then you will understand righteousness and justice, Equity and every good path. |
| For you, a thousand years are as a passing day, as brief as a few night hours. | For a thousand years in Your sight Are like yesterday when it is past, And like a watch in the night. |
| When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners. | For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. |
| Just as you cannot understand the path of the wind or the mystery of a tiny baby growing in its mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the activity of God, who does all things. | As you do not know what is the way of the wind, Or how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child, So you do not know the works of God who makes everything. |
| Then the angel spoke to the women. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead, just as he said would happen. Come, see where his body was lying.” | But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.” |
| Dear friend, I hope all is well with you and that you are as healthy in body as you are strong in spirit. | Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. |
| The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm. | The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace. |
| My child, don’t reject the Lord’s discipline, and don’t be upset when he corrects you. For the Lord corrects those he loves, just as a father corrects a child in whom he delights. | My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord, Nor detest His correction; For whom the Lord loves He corrects, Just as a father the son in whom he delights. |
| I have given them to you for food, just as I have given you grain and vegetables. But you must never eat any meat that still has the lifeblood in it. | Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. I have given you all things, even as the green herbs. | Those who are victorious will sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat with my Father on his throne. | To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. |
| Just as everyone dies because we all belong to Adam, everyone who belongs to Christ will be given new life. | For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. |
| Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other. | For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. |
