King is born (4/4)

For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. The desires of the flesh result in death, but the desires of the Spirit result in life and peace.
He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress, so that I stand ever unshaken.
In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.My deliverance and my glory depend on God; he is my mighty rock and my refuge.
Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.
Thine, O Lord is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and thou art exalted as head above all.Yours, O Lord, are greatness, power, glory, strength, and majesty, for everything in heaven and on earth is yours. Yours, O Lord, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all.
Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. Therefore, strive to be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect.
And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.
For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. In it the righteousness of God is revealed, beginning in faith and established in faith. As it is written: “The one who is righteous will live through faith.”
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “the one who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”
Before destruction the heart of man is haughty, and before honour is humility.A man is haughty until disaster overtakes him, but humility comes before honors.
Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. In the same way, faith by itself is dead if it does not have works.
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. There is no salvation in anyone else, nor is there any other name under heaven given to men by which we can be saved.
Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the Antichrist, about whose coming you have been told, and that it is already in the world.
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom should I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom should I be afraid?
Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.Wives, be subject to your husbands as you are to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, just as Christ is the head of the Church, the body of which he is the Savior.
He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.A patient man shows good sense, but a quick-tempered man displays the height of folly.
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.
He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.Like a city that has been breached and made defenseless is the man devoid of self-control.
The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. The name of the Lord is a tower of strength; the upright man runs to it and finds refuge.
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.Enter through the narrow gate, for the gate is wide and the road broad that leads to destruction, and those who enter through it are many. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and those who find it are few in number.
Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.And he did the same with the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which will be poured out for you.”
And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.We also know that the Son of God has come and given us understanding so that we can know the one who is true. And we are in the one who is true, since we are in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
It is an honour for a man to cease from strife: but every fool will be meddling. It is honorable to avoid strife, but every fool is quarrelsome.
But godliness with contentment is great gain.Godliness produces great gain, but only to those who are content.
And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. He is the head of the body, that is, the Church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that in every way he should be supreme.
