| Sing praises to the Lord, for he has done gloriously; let this be known in all the earth. | Sing to the Lord, for he has done wonderful things. Make known his praise around the world. |
| I delight to do your will, O my God; your law is within my heart. | I take joy in doing your will, my God, for your instructions are written on my heart. |

| Observe the sabbath day and keep it holy, as the Lord your God commanded you. Six days you shall labor and do all your work. | Let marriage be held in honor by all, and let the marriage bed be kept undefiled; for God will judge fornicators and adulterers. | Give honor to marriage, and remain faithful to one another in marriage. God will surely judge people who are immoral and those who commit adultery. |

| On the last day of the festival, the great day, while Jesus was standing there, he cried out, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me.” | On the last day, the climax of the festival, Jesus stood and shouted to the crowds, “Anyone who is thirsty may come to me!” |
| Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established. | Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed. |
| Let us hold fast to the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who has promised is faithful. | Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. |
