- I seek you with all my heart;
do not let me stray from your commands. - Direct my footsteps according to your word;
let no sin rule over me. - Let your eyes look straight ahead;
fix your gaze directly before you. - Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.
- Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;
let your glory be over all the earth. - He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber. - Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;
let your glory be over all the earth. - But let justice roll on like a river,
righteousness like a never-failing stream! - Let the wicked forsake their ways
and the unrighteous their thoughts.
Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them,
and to our God, for he will freely pardon. - Who is wise? Let them realize these things.
Who is discerning? Let them understand.
The ways of the Lord are right;
the righteous walk in them,
but the rebellious stumble in them. - Sing to the Lord, for he has done glorious things;
let this be known to all the world. - In you, Lord, I have taken refuge;
let me never be put to shame;
deliver me in your righteousness. - Cast your cares on the Lord
and he will sustain you;
he will never let
the righteous be shaken. - Out of the depths I cry to you, Lord;
Lord, hear my voice.
Let your ears be attentive
to my cry for mercy. - Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.
- “In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold.
- Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
- Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.
- On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink.”
- Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom.
- My son, pay attention to what I say;
turn your ear to my words.
Do not let them out of your sight,
keep them within your heart. - Let my teaching fall like rain
and my words descend like dew,
like showers on new grass,
like abundant rain on tender plants. - It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
- Let those who love the Lord hate evil,
for he guards the lives of his faithful ones
and delivers them from the hand of the wicked. - Now let the fear of the Lord be on you. Judge carefully, for with the Lord our God there is no injustice or partiality or bribery.
